Timeline COVID-19
- 4119 Taiwanese nationals from the Diamond Princess cruise ship safely returned to Taiwan. Two rounds of testing turned out negative for COVID-19 infections. All 19 Taiwanese nationals underwent strict 14-day quarantine.
- 42Japan and Korea Travel Notice raised to Level 2 (Alert).
- 43Iran and Italy Travel Notice raised to Level 1 (Watch).
- 44Travelers arriving from Level 1 (Thailand, Italy, Iran) and Level 2 (Singapore, Japan) destinations were requested to undergo self-health management for 14 days from the date of arrival.
- 45Italy raised to Level 3 (Warning) Travel Notice destination. All travelers returning from Italy were requested to undergo 14 days of home quarantine.
- 46Raised Iran’s Travel Notice Level to level 3 (warning) and all returning travelers were requested to undergo home quarantine for 14 days.

- 50Listed Travel Notice Level for 27 countries in Europe and Dubai to Level 3 (Warning). Travel Notices for the states of Washington, New York and California increased to Level 2 (Alert). All other countries not listed in the Travel Notice were listed as Level 1 (Watch).

- 52The Travel Notices for 42 countries and 1 area from Eastern Europe, the Middle East, Central Asia and Northern Africa were increased to Level 3 (Warning).
- 53From March 3rd to March 14th, individuals entering Taiwan from Europe with symptoms will be retrospectively screened and tested.
- 54From March 19th onwards, the Travel Notices for 20 countries from Asia and Eastern Europe and 3 USA States were increased to Level 3 (Warning). All other USA states were increased to Level 2 (Alert).
- 55From March 5th to March 14th, retrospectively monitored health status of travelers entering Taiwan from Europe, Egypt, Turkey, and Dubai.
- 56Restrictions on all foreigners from entering into Taiwan. All inbound travelers were requested to undergo home quarantine for 14 days.
- 57Travel Notice for 4 countries: USA, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand was increased to Level 3 (Warning), including flight transits.
- 58From March 19th onwards till April 30th, no packaged tours to foreign countries and group tours to Taiwan were acceped.
- 59Travel Notice Alerts raised to level 3 (Warning) for all countries.
- 60Retrospectively monitor for all travelers entering Taiwan from USA and Southeast Asia from March 8th to March 18th who have been to medical facilities. These individuals were informed to undergo home quarantine and test for potential virus infections.
