Listed Travel Notice Level for 27 countries in Europe and Dubai to Level 3 (Warning). Travel Notices for the states of Washington, New York and California increased to Level 2 (Alert). All other countries not listed in the Travel Notice were listed as Level 1 (Watch).
1. Starting on March 17, Taiwan issued Level 3 travel alerts (Warning) for Italy and other Schengen countries (France, Germany, Spain, Portugal, Austria, Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Denmark, Finland, Sweden, Slovakia, Slovenia, Poland, Czech Republic, Hungary, Greece, Malta, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Iceland, Norway, Switzerland, and Liechtenstein) and the United Kingdom, Ireland (27 countries) and Dubai (including airport transit. People are warned against non-essential travel to these areas.
2. Beginning on 14:00, 14 March, Taiwan time, those who boarded commercial flights must conduct self-health management, and those had not boarded must undergo 14- day home quarantine.
3. Since the early morning of 17 March, foreign visitors could pay to go to a centralized quarantine site if they lacked a place to stay.
