1. The global pandemic’s situation continued to worsen. The United States and Australia declared a state of emergency in the whole or parts of the country. To reduce the risk of infection to travelers, Taiwan, on midnight of 19 March, issued Level 3 travel alerts (Warning) for (besides Washington, New York and California) for the United States, Canada, Australia and New Zealand (including transit passengers). Taiwanese should avoid all non-essential travel to these areas.
2. Entrants with travel history to countries with Level 3 travel alerts would be required to undergo a 14-day home quarantine
3. Beginning on midnight 19 March, Taiwan time, all entrants must undergo a 14-day home quarantine.
