Raised Iran’s Travel Notice Level to level 3 (warning) and all returning travelers were requested to undergo home quarantine for 14 days.
1. Iran’s COVID-19 cases and deaths increased rapidly recently. Considering the increased risk of infection to travelers, Taiwan’s Central Epidemic Command Center issued Level 3 travel alerts (Warning) for the country warning against all non-essential travel.
2. The CECC also announced that those who had a history traveling to Italy Iran (excluding airport transit) within the previous 14 days from 00:00 on March 2, Taiwan time, must undergo a 14-day home quarantine.
