Nineteen Taiwanese passengers on Princess Diamond arrived safely in Taiwan, and after preliminary evaluations were found to have no symptoms. Eleven ambulances transported them to three hospitals for mandatory quarantine. The first testing was completed on these nineteen subjects, and they underwent a second test. Those with negative test results would be sent to a hotel to complete their 14-day quarantine so their health could be closely monitored.
