- 141Travel Notice Alerts raised to level 3 (Warning) for all countries.
- 142Retrospectively monitor for all travelers entering Taiwan from USA and Southeast Asia from March 8th to March 18th who have been to medical facilities. These individuals were informed to undergo home quarantine and test for potential virus infections.
- 143Tax-free shops in 5 airports to sell masks to inbound travelers. Only one unit allowed to be purchased. (3 adult masks per unit or 5 kids masks per unit).

Taiwan CDC also sent an email to the IHR focal point under the WHO, informing WHO of its understanding of the disease and requesting further information.
