Travelers arriving in Taiwan on long-haul flights between the country and the Americas, Europe, the Middle East, New Zealand, and Australia will be required to undergo a government-funded rapid RT-PCR test when their flight touches down. Travelers testing negative can then proceed to customs and immigration and should take a quarantine vehicle to a quarantine hotel/government quarantine facility where they will complete quarantine; those testing positive will be transported to a designated hospital by ambulance on the airside of the airport after designated personnel complete document inspection
