From March 24th to April 7th, all transit flights through Taiwan were suspended.
To prevent the spread of COVID-19 through air transportation, from midnight, 24 March 2020 (Tuesday) to 07 April 2020, Taipei time, Taiwan completely banned international visitors (including airport transfers) to Taiwan. The government aimed to minimize the cross-border movement of people to reduce the risk of disease transmission.
