The Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) announced that, to protect the health of young people, eligibility for a booster dose of Moderna's next-generation bivalent vaccine will be expanded to include individuals aged 18-49 starting on October 11, 2022. A minimum interval of 12 weeks (84 days) is recommended between this vaccine and the last dose of a primary series vaccination/additional dose or the previous booster dose.
