On January 16, the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) announced that the COVID-19 vaccination registration and appointment reservation system will be open for scheduling booster dose appointments starting January 18 in order to provide multiple options for the public to schedule an appointment and thus, expedite the rollout of booster shots, allowing the public to gain protection more quickly. In the 20th round, booster shots will be offered to individuals aged 18 or older who have received two doses of a COVID-19 vaccine for 12 weeks.
