COVID-19 government-funded vaccination appointment system includes BNT vaccine as an option for vaccine brand preference starting August 28; AZ vaccine are available for seventh round of vaccinations and booking appointments will start at 10 a.m. on August 29
On August 28, the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) pointed out that the COVID-19 vaccination registration and appointment reservation system (https://1922.gov.tw/) included the Pfizer-BioNTech (BNT) vaccine as an option for vaccine brand starting August 28 and remains open to people aged 18 and older for registration of their willingness. Regarding adolescents aged 12-17 (inclusive), vaccinations with the BNT vaccine are planned to be provided to them according to the pattern of the influenza vaccine rollout, that is, collectively given to them at schools or given to them after issuing a notice reminding them to visit healthcare facilities designated and contracted by their local health authority. Therefore, the age group is not included in this round of registration.
