In response to spread of COVID-19 Delta variant, PCR testing is required for people completing home quarantine and home isolation periods to protect health of community

The Central Epidemic Command Center(CECC) announces that to prevent the spread of the Delta variant of COVID-19, close contacts of confirmed COVID-19 cases and travelers entering Taiwan from abroad, whether symptomatic or asymptomatic, are required to undergo PCR testing one day prior to the end of home isolation or home quarantine period. The said measure is effective starting June 22. Related fees incurred in testing will be paid by the government.
