The Central Epidemic Command Center announced it would loosen quarantine measures for Taiwan-Palau travel bubble travelers returning to Taiwan from Palau starting on April 14, 2021. Before this decision, Taiwan-Palau travel bubble travelers should practice enhanced self-health management for the first five days after their return. After they take a COVID-19 RT-PCR test on the fifth day following their return and acquire a negative test result, they can begin to observe enhanced self-health management until the 14th day after their return. Effective on April 14, 2021, quarantine measures will be relaxed for Taiwan-Palau travel bubble travelers returning to Taiwan from Palau; such travelers should practice self-health management measures for 14 days. However, they are still required to take a COVID-19 RT-PCR test on the fifth day following their return.
