The Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) announced it would change quarantine regulations and disease prevention and control measures for crew members of Taiwanese airlines returning to Taiwan starting from April 15, 2021 (arrival time). Related adjustments are listed below.

1. Crew members arriving from countries under Level 3 travel notice (long-haul flights): 3 days of home quarantine (an RT-PCR on the last day of the period is required, and a negative test result is also required) and 11 days of self-health management.

2. Crew members who have not entered countries under Level 3 travel notice and have returned to Taiwan the same day (short-haul flights):14 days of self-health management

The CECC further explained that disease prevention and control measures for crew members of Taiwanese airlines receiving two doses of the COVID-19 vaccine would also be adjusted. After they return to Taiwan, crew members of Taiwanese airlines should abide by the new disease prevention and control measures listed below after two weeks following their inoculation.

1. Long-haul flights: 7 days of self-health management, testing on the last day of the period; those acquiring a negative test result can be released.

2. Short-haul flights: exempted from following self-health management measures; observe new lifestyle for epidemic prevention.
