First batch of 116,500 doses of AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccines imported from South Korea arrived in Taiwan on the morning of March 3. After documents review and vaccine inspections, the batch release certificate of this batch was issued on the evening of March 17. The batch release process was completed on March 18, and this batch of vaccines can be handed over to Taiwan Centers for Disease Control (CDC) for the following vaccination program.
