In response to the continued severity of COVID-19 and the new coronavirus strain found in Brazil, travelers who have history of travel to Brazil in the past 14 days will be required to undergo quarantine at group quarantine facilities after arrival in Taiwan starting February 24, 2021
The Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) announced that starting from February 24, 2021, 00:00 am (arrival time), travelers who have traveled to Brazil in the past 14 days (travelers who have transited in Brazil included) would be required to stay at group quarantine facilities after arrival in Taiwan and to receive COVID-19 testing. Moreover, those travelers will be given another COVID-19 test before completing the quarantine period. After they test negative, they will be required to complete the subsequent 7-day period of self-health management.
