The NT$1,000 subsidy, for the Triple Stimulus Voucher receivable by disadvantaged citizens, has started to be deposited into respective accounts since July 2.
In order to help the economically disadvantaged group participate in the application of Triple Stimulus Vouchers, according to Article 6 of the Regulations Governing Issuance of Triple Stimulus Vouchers in Response to Severe Pneumonia with Novel Pathogens, the subsidy, NT$1,000, shall be granted to 8 major categories of people, including the beneficiaries and applicants for the disability living allowance, living allowance for low-income senior citizens, living support for disadvantaged children and juvenile, urgent living support for disadvantaged child and juvenile families, living allowance for low-income children, living allowance for low-income household students, living allowance for children from a family in hardship (including grandchildren) or education allowance for children (including grandchildren), low-income households identified by the government but not yet received the allowance, and low-income and mid-income households recorded from June to December 2020.
The NT$1,000 subsidy has been remitted into accounts since July 2. The disadvantaged group may check their passbook voluntarily, in which the phrase “exchange for Triple Stimulus Voucher” is noted. Therefore, citizens may choose to subscribe to paper versions of the voucher or apply for binding the digital voucher to online methods of payment.
The citizens who are qualified as beneficiaries of the subsidy but do not claim government subsidies routinely may exchange for the Triple Stimulus Vouchers valuing NT$3,000 with their health ID cards over the counter at the post office, exempted from the payment of NT$1,000, as of July 15 directly. Notwithstanding, those who have not yet claimed the vouchers in paper form but wish to book them or bind the digital vouchers online may proceed to book or bind it online, and then complete their passbook entry at the household offices within the jurisdiction where they register their residence. We will remit the NT$1,000 subsidy into their accounts on August 7.
