Taiwan had gone 13 consecutive days with no new COVID-19 cases and 38 consecutive days without any local cases.
- Until May 20, 2020, a cumulative total of 69,876 cases had been reported, among which COVID-19 had been ruled out in 68,824 cases. Of 440 confirmed COVID-19 cases, 349 were imported, 55 were indigenous and 36 were naval crew members aboard the Panshi Fast Combat Support Ship.
- Of the confirmed cases, there were 7 deaths, 402 released from isolation, and the remainder remaining hospitalization in isolation.
- Taiwan had gone 13 consecutive days with no new COVID-19 cases since May 7, 2020 and 38 consecutive days without any local infections since April 12, 2020.
