1. To better implement home quarantine and home isolation, and refine the care service network, the CECC invited local governments to conduct a comprehensive review of all levels involved. They discussed the command structure, frontline health workers’ lateral communication, division of labor and consultation and integration of dedicated lines. Taiwan’s 22 counties and cities jointly initiated "Local government care and support service project for home quarantine and isolation."
2. "Local government care and support service project for home quarantine and isolation" focused on subjects to be cared for, medical assistance, transportation arrangements, assisted living and dedicated services, etc. The goals are as follows:
(1) Ensuring people could receive all needed living, psychological and medical assistance during home quarantine and home isolation.
(2) Urging people to fully cooperate with epidemic prevention measures to realize fruitful home quarantine/isolation.
(3) Reducing the public's opposition to home quarantine/isolation.
(4) Raising the public’s confidence in epidemic prevention measures.
