Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) upgraded to become a Level 1 facility, with Minister of Health and Welfare Shih-Chung Chen continuing to lead as the Commander.
Responding to the COVID-19 pandemic, Taiwan’s Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) was elevated to a level 1 facility; Minister of Health and Welfare Chen Shih-chung was appointed as its commander. Premier Su Tseng-chang specifically instructed all ministries to guard against imported COVID-19 cases, to prevent the epidemic, and to revitalize the economy.
