Italy Travel Notice raised to Level 2 (Alert).

Italy’s COVID-19 cases increased rapidly recently. As of now, the number of confirmed cases reached 229 with 6 deaths. Authorities in Italy were unable to pinpoint the source of infection, while a cluster of infection was reported at a local hospital. The Lombardy (home to the city of Milan) and Veneto regions temporarily banned all religious activities and large-scale gatherings. Schools at all levels were suspended for a week, and more than 10 towns were put on lockdownDue to the worsening crisis in Italy, Taiwan’s Central Epidemic Command Center issued Level 2 travel notice:Alert for the country, urging travelers to take enhaced precautions.
