As Taiwan’s medical mask production capacity continued to increase, the Name-based Mask Distribution System would increase supplies starting on 20 February to meet the rising demands for school opening next week.
1. Adult masks:
(1) Limit per person: 2 masks per 7 days
(2) Daily supply to each distributor: increased from 200 masks to 400 masks
2. Kids’ masks (limited to children under 12 with health insurance card):
(1) Limit per person: 4 masks per 7 days
(2) Daily supply of each distributor: increased from 50 masks to 200 masks
3. Name-based Mask Distribution System:
(1) Total daily supply volume: increased from 1.65 million masks to 3.96 million masks (including 2.64 million adult masks and 1.32 million kids’ masks)
(2) Daily service volume: from 825,000 people doubled to 1.65 million people
