As Taiwan’s mask production capacity continued to increase, beginning on February 20, the Name-based Mask Distribution System also upped its supply to meet the rising demand from school re-opening next week.
1. Adult mask:
(1) Limit per person: 2 masks per 7 days
(2) Daily supply volume of each merchant: 400 masks up from 200 masks
2. Kids’ masks (restricted to children under 12 with National Health Insurance Card):
(1) Limit per person: 4 masks per 7 days
(2) Daily supply volume of each merchant: 200 masks up from 50 masks
3. Name-based Mask Distribution System:
(1) Total daily supplies: 3.96 million masks up from 1.65 million masks (including 2.64 million adult masks and 1.32 million kids’ masks)
(2) Daily customer volume: 825,000 people doubled to 1.65 million
