Individuals working in the passenger transport sector, bus drivers, taxi drivers, car rentals and cargo transport drivers as well as other frontline staff are eligible to purchase one medical-grade mask per day
1.40,100 medical masks were distributed daily to the drivers of transportation industry (except in the six major metropolises), commercial trucking/bus industries, taxi industry (except in the six major metropolises), minibus rental industry and freight transportation industry. Each driver could buy one mask per day. Each piece costs NT$ 5.
2. Six major metropolises conferred flexible on the number of masks each taxi driver could receive. On the other hand, Directorate General of Highways first allocated to guilds, then the guilds distributed masks to each member company. Moreover, personal taxi drivers could buy masks from the guilds they belong to.
