1. Over the past week, the domestic medical mask requisition capacity increased significantly to exceed 4.2 million pieces in daily output. To enable the frontline medical staff to get more adequate masks, the distribution volume of masks in medical institutions would be doubled, say, from an average of 850,000 to 1.7 million per day, to satisfy the epidemic prevention needs of medical institutions with supplement of the inventory of each hospital to assure safety and adequate inventory for 15 days.
2. Among the increased distribution of masks in medical institutions, about 370,000 are provided to grassroots clinic staff daily, and about 1.2 million are provided to hospital staff (including medical staff, cleaning staff, intern students, administrative personnel who contact patients directly) and to supplement the safety inventory.
