Travel Notice Level for several countries raised in light of the COVID-19 status (1) Hong Kong and Macau raised to Level 3 (Warning). (2) Singapore raised to Level 2 (Alert). (3) Thailand raised to Level 1 (Watch).
Starting from February 11, the travel notice level for Hong Kong, Macau, Singapore and Thailand were upgraded. Among them, the travel notice level for Hong Kong and Macau were upgraded to Level 3: warning, and the public were advised to avoid all unnecessary travels there. Singapore was upgraded to the Level 2 :Alert and all local people should take strengthened protective measures when traveling there. Thailand was raised to Level 1: Watch. All public should observe the local general preventive measures for the following reasons:
1. In Hong Kong, there had seen community transmission and gathering without obvious sources of infection.
2. In Singapore, more than a half of the confirmed cases proved to be local infections and there was a third wave of infections with outbreaks of conference gathering infections exported to other countries.
3. In Thailand, there had also had an unidentified source of infection and a third wave of infection while the Thai government did not take relevant entry control or quarantine measures against Chinese tourists.
