All inbound travelers from countries other than China, Hong Kong, and Macau were requested to fill out the “COVID-19 Health Declaration”. Inbound travelers from China, Hong Kong, and Macau were requested to fill out and comply with the “COVID-19 Health Declaration and Home Quarantine Notice,” and were asked to undergo home quarantine for 14 days after entry into Taiwan.
1. Where confirmed cases of COVID-19 have been found in China and 26 other countries and regions around the world. Some countries and regions have experienced community transmission and with outbreaks involving cluster infection amidst meetings or conferences in other countries without obvious sources of infection.
2. In an attempt to improve the border quarantine measures, all inbound passengers with flights from origins other than China, Hong Kong and Macao are required to fill in the " COVID-19 Health Declaration" starting from February 11. and should truthfully fill in whether they have travelled to or contacted in China, Hong Kong and Macao within 14 days before entry. Such an inbound passenger who misrepresents the declaration, or rejects, evades or hinders the requirements is subject to a penalty fine up-to-date NT$150,000 in maximum. Inbound passengers from China, Hong Kong and Macao must fill in the " COVID-19 Health Declaration and Home Quarantine Notice" with cooperation for home quarantine measures for 14 days from the date of entry.
