The screening facility for charter flights returning to Taiwan followed the “one person per room” principle. People were required to have their body temperatures taken twice on a daily basis. If fever, respiratory tract symptoms or discomfort were discovered, they would be transferred immediately for medical attention. Protective gears and masks would be provided at the quarantine sites for workers carrying out the procedures. Cases that were sent to group quarantine facilities may not leave the premises. The activities of these people were limited to solely the quarantine room; therefore they shall not be in contact with the nearby local residents.
