Guangdong Province, China listed as a Level 2 Epidemic Area. Chinese nationals residing in Guangdong Province, China were banned from enter into Taiwan.
1. Decision over the epidemic areas in China was done by subdividing the areas into 2 levels: level 1 epidemic area, indicating that significant community spread had occurred that was difficult to contain.
2. Hubei Province was classified as level 1 epidemic area. Level 2 epidemic area indicated that it was suspected that community spreads had occurred. It was necessary to list those who had relevant travel history into persons for home quarantine.
3. Guangdong Province was listed as level 2 epidemic area since February 3. Chinese who resided in the Guangdong Province was prohibited to enter Taiwan.
