Travelers entering into Taiwan through the “Mini Three Links” without showing symptoms were requested to undergo a 14-day home quarantine starting from Feb 3rd. Asymptomatic travelers from China, Hong Kong, and Macau were requested to undergo self-health monitoring. Individuals with upper respiratory symptoms needed to undergo a 14-day self-health monitoring regimen, despite testing negative for COVID-19.
1. Those who enter Taiwan via the three-small-link ports/airports should carry out home quarantine for 14 days, starting tomorrow.
2. Self-health management should be carried out by asymptomatic travelers entering Taiwan from China, Hong Kong and Macau, which was different to the previous self-ealth observation. During the management period, these people should try to avoid going out. If there was a need to go out, surgical masks should be worn. Those with upper respiratory tract symptoms despite negative screening outcomes should still conduct self-health management.
