In response to the increasing number of cases of COVID-19 in China, the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) had imposed restrictions over Chinese entering Taiwan for meetings since January 25th. These included total prohibition of Chinese from the Hubei Province. On January 27th, an additional Article 7 for incoming restrictions over “Temporary withholding application process for the 3 traveling categories entering Taiwan. Those who already were given the permit to enter were asked to postpone the date of entry”.
