1. To monitor the health status of quarantined individuals, the CECC announced a LINE Bot system, called Disease Containment Expert, developed jointly by the CECC, Line Taiwan and HTC Corporation’s healthcare unit DeepQ was officially launched for use on April 3.
2. To simultaneously monitor the health status of quarantined and isolated individuals, the CECC also implemented a "two-way messaging" system to enable these individuals to update their health status instantaneously.
3. Advantages of "Disease Containment Expert:"
(1) Assisting (but not replacing) the follow-up work of frontline civil affairs officials.
(2) Asymptomatic people may still receive follow-up messages from the system.
(3) Besides providing self-health management notifications and epidemic prevention information, notices were also sent on the 13th, 14th and home quarantine release days to remind the persons that they still to conduct self-health management for 7 days.
