In response to the worsening COVID-19 pandemic, Taiwan would assist local governments to prepare in advance for possible calamities: earthquakes, landslides, floods and storms. Temporary shelters and resettlement operations, along with epidemic prevention measures and development of guidelines for peace-time preparedness and response stages, would all be in place to safeguard the health of staff and the public.
