Central Epidemic Command Center
I. Upgrading the level of the command center in response to changes in the outbreak situation
(I) The Executive Yuan approved the establishment of the COVID-19 Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC)as a level 3 center on January 20, 2020.
(II) Premier Su Tseng-Chang upgraded it to a level 2 center on January 23, 2020.
(III) Premier Su Tseng-Chang upgraded it to a level 1 center (the highest level) on February 27, 2020.
II. Organizational structure of level 1 center
(I) Epidemic prevention measures are carried out by 10 groups which are divided into three sections: intelligence, operation, and logistics.
(II) A team of experts and scholars form an advisory group provide advices as well as recommendations regarding healthcare and epidemic prevention and related technologies.
(III) Research and Development Group closely coordinates the development of epidemic prevention technology with front-line epidemic prevention measures, and extends research and development capabilities to the industrial sector to accelerate the development of related products.
Level 1 COVID-19 Central Epidemic Command Center
